About Us

Coral Reef Diving is based in Vancouver, BC and headed by Mark Leichnitz.

Mark is a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer with a passion for underwater videography and a mission to teach students to become skilled, confident divers while exploring world class dive sites.

Mark began diving in 1986 and has traveled widely, with dives logged on the Great Barrier Reef in Australia, the Philippines, Fiji, French Polynesia, several Caribbean islands, the Mediterranean, Mexico and the Pacific Northwest. He finally decided to go pro in 2004.

Coral Reef Diving was established in 2005, along with Coral Reef Films. We are informally affiliated with local Vancouver dive shops, with other Instructors and with Divemasters who provide us with the services and equipment that we need to serve our clients.

We are focused on teaching and diving with individuals or small groups.
